Budget the licensing track separately from the immigration track
Hypothetical example: the household budgets for immigration and is surprised by the licensing invoices. Build two columns. The immigration column uses the current CBP source for a direct port-of-entry application or the current USCIS Form G-1055 schedule for an employer's Form I-129 filing, plus any premium processing the employer elects for that petition.
The licensing column contains the state board's application charge, credential verification through whichever service that board designates, any examination or English-language requirement, fingerprinting and, later, renewal. Add the practical costs nobody itemises: certified copies of the degree, courier charges, travel for any in-person step, and time away from the current Coaldale position. Ask the hospital in writing which of these it reimburses and when.
